Abstract Expressionism is definitely something I just don't get. I must say that I am not a formally trained artist but I do read a lot. No matter what I read about AE, I still go away thinking I don't get it. I do see a lot of all over pattern and texture in some AE and was willing to give it a try for today's painting. It is definitely a painting that is best viewed from a distance….So, Viewer, Please step away from the painting.
