I have been promising myself continue to do some larger works that are based on some of smaller ones.  Towns was influenced by my January 7, 2015 painting, Dreaming.  It is 12x12.  So, going up in size and changing the format changed everything for me.  There was a lot of back and forth with layers of color and marks.  There was a lot of noise as I painted.  I had to really work.  The process was both artistic and physical.  I like it that the energy shows. 

And, yes, the composition is a little bulls eye.  I readily admit that.  But this is my view of what is straight below me.
